"We were very impressed with this hotel which we stayed at for one night on our way to Belgium from the Cote D'Azure. The house was lovely and we were met very graciously by the owner, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us we could get an upgrade and we ended up having a lovely spacious suite. "I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"Location was very remote and you need to go by car to a restaurant. Unfortunately most restaurants are closed on sunday/monday and sometimea tuesdays especially during winter period. So no dinner when we came late in the afternoon. Breakfast was very nice. Next time I would choose for a hotel with dinner possibilties. "
