Allocated a room with a four poster bed, as I'm a little claustrophobic we asked to change room at reception, no problem at all. Overlooking the river with balcony we would definitely stay again in this room.

As an oldie, I found the shower really hard to deal with: no signs to tell you which knob controlled the temperature, so I had to stand under almost scalding water trying out both kmobs in both directions to adjust it . There was no mat and no handle. As I’m 77 and have a bad back, I was in constant danger of slipping. And the style of shower means you cannot hand-hold it. So I felt that modern design...
