"We were 6 adults and 3 children staying at Villa Elsie. We had a truly wonderful holiday here with plenty of space for us all and all the facilities we needed. The views were stunning and so pretty in the evening watching the sunset and the lights of Kalamata. The little village was an easy stroll for a meal at one of the three tavernas but we mostly cooked at the villa including a couple of barbecues.We visited the beaches, Kytries and Kalamata by car as they were all close by. "We had the perfect stay at this gorgeous house - the view from the terrace was to die for!! Very quiet and private. You do need a car to get around and there are plenty of facilities a short car-ride away. The whole family absolutely loved it! If you have very small children, the pool area can be a little tricky as the surrounding walls are quite narrow and fairly high up. But for us it was perfect."

"We really enjoyed staying in this lovely part of Greece but the local information provided by our host made the stay very special. The villa was clean, and well equipped with excellent facilities. Our only problem was that it was very hard to find in the dark after a delayed flight. The instructions were unclear and he distances incorrect. In end we looked for Sto Spiti B&B on google maps. The very steep entrance is about 40 m beyond thaton the right, almost opposite a turning on the other side...

A few minor niggles - loud lawn mower, tree trimmer from 5am every day disturbed sleep. Shower system quite old, leaky and small bathrooms. "Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place.
