Immaculately clean, the villa has everything you need, and its size means it's just such an easy place to spend your days idling. "Hotel complex was beautifully presented and watching the sun set from the main pool/restaurant was amazing. Our room was modest, but nicely furnished. Our only real issue all stay was a tardy response to requests. Not quite 5 star level. We asked about extending our stay and they finally replied at 11:30pm, by ringing our room and waking us up. Very peculiar and unprofessional! Fiskardo is a sensational base from which to explore. The harbour is so picturesque. We enjoyed a day trip to Vasiliki."

"The villa is rustic and authentic and the pool area is very pleasant; there were some provisions left in the fridge which was a nice touch. There is shade if you move loungers around the pool but no umbrellas. The bathroom is very basic and has no shower curtain or screen, thus taking a shower involves the floor getting soaked and we were only given one floor mat for the entire week. Inside the villa there was a long list of ‘rules’, but nothing giving information about cleaning/ emptying bins or the local area. As it turned out, there was no cleaning - all week. The bins were not emptied ( including the toilet bin in which you are requested to place your toilet paper - as with most of Greece); towels were changed after about 4 days. There were no cleaning products other than a dishcloth and 2 dishwasher tabs. As with some self catering villas, you will need to purchase toilet rolls as only two are provided. On the final day, although the app said checkout was up to midday, this wasn’t the case and the host made us feel a little uncomfortable until we left - just a little more basic communication the previous day around expectations would have not left us feeling so uneasy."

"The hotel is in a great location! The room was nice and we had reserved a room with a Seaview. I definitely think its worth the extra money to upgrade. The lobby and breakfast area was lovely. Most importantly the staff was kind and helpful. I'm sure they get lots of questions and requests all day and every day, however that did not deter them from being very kind and patient with my questions. There is also parking at this hotel which is wonderful for those that have a vehicle."

"The hotel is located in a lovely little village with a harbour and lots of very good traditional restaurants. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable and all have large balconies with beautiful views across to Sami and the island of Ithaca. Our room had a huge bed and had a great power shower and fluffy white bath towels. It was all very clean and well maintained. The pool was very clean and had plenty of seating areas, although not a lot of shade which is what we prefer. It was very quiet (early June) which we really enjoyed as it made for a very relaxing holiday."
