The only 1 thing that bordered me staying there is that there are so many flies around and they get into the house easily. We had to constantly guard against them during meals."

"We stayed with 2 adults and 3 kids. Absolutely loved, loved, loved the village. There's not much to do, but feels therefore like a real immersive experience in a small village. The local library has a play area for kids with lots of toys and games, free to use. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, has everything we needed. "We had an incredible stay in this lovely quiet village well away from the crowds of tourists. This gorgeous, large, cool, beautifully laid out house provided plenty of space for 8 people - 4 adults and 4 kids. The huge pool and garden area were fabulous and inside the big cool, airy, rooms equipped with a pool table, games room and a large comfy sitting room and spacious bedrooms meant everyone could spread out and properly relax. "What an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice! The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening.
