"The old convent was lovely. We stayed in the old part of the hotel and it was very comfortable- the bed was huge! All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed a free wine tasting on arrival and a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. The indoor pool was ok, but the steam room and sauna were disappointingly cool. The outdoor pool was great and would be gorgeous in the summer. The hotel was really peaceful and it was easy to get in to Evora for dinner and shopping. Breakfast was excellent! "

"This is a very stylish hotel with a very modern feel in the lobby and common spaces and in the rooms. The rooftop pool and the breakfast room were very cool spaces For us, the best part about this hotel was the location. With a short few block walk, you were at the gate of the old city section of Évora. In the old city are wonderful alleys and squares and Roman ruins to wander through. Also there are many restaurants and cafes in the old city. "

"Beautiful property with amazing spa facilities. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have enjoyed. Very clean and spacious bedrooms with balconies. Great view of Roman structures. Bed could have been more comfortable, but that was the only thing I would have changed. Great overall."

"A high-end experience! Lovely, modern hotel. Free underground parking - such a bonus inside the walled city. We arrived before check in and they let us park and come back later. Be prepared, driving is tricky in the historic area. Pack your patience."

"We only had one night at this little gem of a property. Very unique farm stay with a lovely farmhouse kitchen where the friendly chef makes a few specialty items each night and serves them as if you were in his home. The breakfast was good as well, fresh scrambled eggs, breads, juice, coffee, yogurt etc. the only difficulty we had was arriving in the evening and the driveway gate was closed and we weren’t given a passcode. Fortunately another guest pulled up behind us and put the code in to open the gate. We also didn’t know where reception was and in the dark weren’t sure where to go until we saw other people entering a building. Wandering around the farm in the morning and seeing the animals was nice, and our unit was clean and comfortable. "
