"Ok for a quick stay. I was going to be there for four days so we specifically looked for a place that had hot items for breakfast and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. After making reservations online and then checking in upon arrival I found out that they only had a continental breakfast (i.e. donuts, muffins, orange juice, and coffee. I was disappointed but stayed anyways. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed."

"This is a very nice place to stay and was a good price. My only negative was that there was no staff at night, but everything was well prepared so we didn’t need anything. "

"Room was clean, but very inconvenient---some of the electricity wasnt working! There was no closet, or areas to hang up clothes. Free breakfast advertised was false! There was none. Pool was not functional, not even able to sit at patio area. Stayed and paid for 2 nights, but room was never cleaned, nor were more washclothes, etc provided. Lobby was closed entire stay. When I complained about paying full price for less than adequate service, the staff was unresponsive."

"The service was pleasant enough. The parking was good. The room had obviously been smoked in although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. It seemed to be reasonably clean although the grout in the bathroom floor was heavily stained. The bathroom overall was nice and had obvious new renovations. The problems were small but annoying. The floor lamp could only be turned on and off by screwing the lightbulb in and out, one of the lights by the bed had no light bulb at all. Only the freezer...

"This was our second time staying at Grace's Retreat. We had the best time, as always! Terry was there at all times to answer any questions or requests. A bonus with this property....they have a nice tri-toon you can rent! We can't wait to get back again!"

"We stayed in Jay’s property for Memorial Day weekend. The entire stay was wonderful (property and lake) and Jay even informed us while we were there that bad weather was moving in. He was a wonderful host and we will definitely try to go back this summer!"

"Great gathering place for family. Clean and roomy house. Fun hiking and playing in the water for all ages. AC was nice and cool. Easy to ask questions of host. Hope to stay again one day."
