"The staff was excellent! So friendly and courteous. It was all just wonderful except the carpet in the room was really dirty. It had been vacuumed and the room was VERY clean. But our socks were black from walking on the carpet. Probably time to replace with hard flooring that can be mopped. "

"Having stayed in the Basin Park on other occasions, we thought we knew what to expect. The day before our scheduled stay, the hotel offered us a free upgrade. We were upgraded to a balcony suite! Very nice and large room in a private part of the hotel. The balcony overlooking the park was private and large enough for a table and 4 chairs. The room had a jetted tub and a sitting area. "

"This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are a little dated, but that was about it. The breakfast was hot and delicious and again, the breakfast room was very clean. The gentleman in charge of the breakfast kept eveything refilled and tables wiped down. Overall a great, clean place to stay."
