During my stay at University Inn & Suites Eugene, I experienced extremely unprofessional and hostile behavior from a front desk employee. What began as a calm question about parking escalated into a threatening phone call, yelling at the front desk, and comments about my payment that made me feel unsafe. My husband was forced to leave abruptly despite prior approval to visit.
Later, after accidental spills and a child becoming ill on bedding, I was willing to pay reasonable cleaning fees, but instead I was denied access to my room, had my belongings bagged and placed in the lobby, and was effectively removed from the hotel. The situation felt humiliating and wildly disproportionate. As a veteran and repeat guest, I was deeply disappointed by how my family and I were treated. I will not be returning and do not recommend this property based on staff conduct and lack of professionalism.
