"The place is great from the history to the decor. Everything is thoughtfully laid out for a great experience. Wished we could have stayed longer. The view of the lake is incredible and we will most definitely be back. Thank you for the awesome experience."

We came here intentionally (from GA) for the wildlife refuge ... all we saw were herons. We drove 4 hours to see ... HERONS.

Beautiful old town. Loved the statues and fountains in the middle of the intersections. The old mansions are beautiful, the lakes/rivers are great. We did some Geocaching in the area and saw a couple great neighborhoods.
