"not a bad place to stay for the money i guess. 1st time staying @ the hotel / motel. weve been staying @ the Hampton Inns for the last 5 years, but we waited to late to book our room & this was one of the only hotel / motels availible. if they didnt advertise falsey i wouldnt mind staying here again. you can hear everyone talking & walking outside the room it says online that they offer free hot breakfast but that clearly was not true or if they do offer the breakfast, it must be after 7am which when i left every morning. overall i would rate the place a 6 out 10."

"Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The outdoor deck was a fabulous spot to hang out with the family. My only negatives…were the extra firm beds and not being able to access the open water, even with waders, due to sinking in the mud. Adding a couple of paddle boats- 1 for each cabin- would be a huge bonus, but you can’t help the lake levels. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. "

"Nice quiet retreat at the end of the road. Plenty of room outback to play games. Boat launch is minutes from the house and the lake level allowed us to beach it which was nice. Sunset was great, we had clear nights for the stars to come out too, very little light pollution around.Slept our crew of nine very comfortably. Also enjoyed the back porch for morning coffee, almost has a beach feel with the waves lightly rolling onto shore. "

"A little nervous parking my car in the back. People were sleeping in their cars and smoking dope, not what i needed for my granddaughter to see. I started parking my car up front and felt safer. The room itself was updated, but you can tell this Hotel is old and in need of repairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"We loved our stay at the Fredonia. This was my husband‘s first time to visit the historic town of Nacogdoches as well as the Fredonia hotel and Convention Center. I have been there several times and have always been pleased. The staff does everything in their power to make your stay wonderful. Our room was perfect and cozy."
