"Very nice well appointed home. We came in for a nearby family wedding and it was a great place to stay. Try to arrive during the day though as it is a little hard to find at night. But well worth opening and closing a gate or two. Fantastic view. Great space."

"It was nicely located for what we wanted to do. The cabin was very nice. It was clean and very well equipped. We did have a power failure one night after a rain storm. As the instructions stated, we contacted the owner and she got back to me within 10 minutes and said that she had notified the electric company. It came on in less than an hour."

"Secluded location though a short drive to Shenandoah Natl Park. Fronts on a creek with relaxing sounds of moving water. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great; the furniture downstairs could use an upgrade. Large kitchen area with everything we needed. A nice place to escape for a few days."

"Overall an average experience except for a few things, contact person did not call back or answer my text regarding hairdryer missing or open the garage door. The Keurig was not working , TV was not set up . The place was clean, great location, quiet and safe neighborhood. This place has the potential to be an awesome experience if attention is paid to the small details."

Definitely a great find when traveling when another couple, as both Master Suites were amazing, no need to flip a coin for the best room, LOL. We did have a bit of a surprise upon arrival - apparently housekeeping had forgotten to return to one of the bathrooms and vacuum up a pile of dirt they had gathered and replace the throw rug. "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was close to Charlottesville downtown and Shenandoah national park and thats what we wanted. There are several vineyards nearby. The host was easy to communicate with. We had some issues with water pressure that were promptly addressed."

"Could not be any happier…Hensley Hollow Lodge was fantastic!!! We were so pleasantly surprised at how a home that can accommodate/slerp 22 was truly spacious enough to be together without being on top of each other and the views were spectacular! Beds (& pillows) were very comfortable. Easy drive (10-12 minutes) to a grocery. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need (2 coffee pots and even 2 crock pots!). Having a second full fridge on the lower level for beverages or food overflow...

"This property is close to the cave so u can save your time on that and probably this property is old but they have all kind of equipment for cooking and kitchen have nice space so whole family can enjoy a food at same time and nice 3 barrooms upstairs with window air conditioner so that helps a lot over all you can stay 3to 4 day very good and we had a great time in this property we all enjoyed a lot"
