Highly recommended

We enjoyed a very quiet, very relaxing holiday... everywhere we looked there were wonderful views of the countryside and the castle. The cottage was spacious and very comfortable, the bed was lovely with gorgeous linen. We had no difficulty preparing simple meals in the small kitchen; a few extra items which which we requested were quickly provided. The only thing we missed was a table on the terrace. We were pleasantly surprised by how hot the weather was in early October, allowing us to make full use of the lovely swimming pool, which has an exceptional view. Each day of our stay began with a plentiful and varied continental breakfast, laid out in the old olive press room, prepared for us by Robert, our host for the week. Reflecting on our stay we would say that Quinta Evoramonte provided a very peaceful base for an easy, relaxed holiday. There was lots to see and do and we enjoyed exploring this part of Alentejo,

Late summer in Evoramonte

A beautiful, comfortable cottage with use of lovely pool (shared with guests in other cottage, but there were none while we were there). Enormous and comfy bed and nice evening views over the valley, with a glass of something. Excellent breakfast on offer daily.

Amazing views and tranquility

Andrew and Louisa were perfect hosts who made our stay completely stress free. With fantastic breakfasts and amazing views we enjoyed our week so much.

A pleasant experience

The house inside is beautiful, well decorated and with a lot of history. The landscape and view outside are breathtaking. A little paradise. The pool area is great just as in the pictures but not private to the house. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming people. They do all they can to make you feel comfortable and have a great experience. Lovely couple! Great breakfast with a lot of choice. I totally recommend it although I think it’s still a bit overpriced if you compare with other similar experiences. Anyway, would definitely repeat! Thank you !!!

Relaxante!

Se o isolamento e a natureza já eram características diferenciadoras do Alentejo, agora, mais do que nunca, são uma oportunidade para captar quem procura passar férias em segurança neste tempo de pandemia. Ideal para relaxar, com história, envolvência, vistas panorâmicas, hospitalidade e excelente piscina.

Nunca nos foi facultado o recibo , o qual foi pedido mais do que uma vez . Check in não existiu . Boa piscina mas com abelhas. Muitas coisas ainda por melhorar .....
