"Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean. It was great having access to all of the facilities of the park hotel next door. Location was perfect, closer to the “old town” Funchal than most of the hotels, about a 20 min walk to the center, but great area near a lot. Overall I felt very safe, only thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk between midnight and 7am, but you will need your key card to get into the building...

The breakfast buffet excellent lots of choice every day fully stocked the outside pool area very nice indoor pool was ok looking a little sad needs a bit of refresh however my son loved it. Bus stop 2 minutes walk very close to restaurants shop etc I would stay here again as a great base for exploring "

Wouldn’t recommend the affiliated pick up service bc they were sort of slow coming out of the airport (getting a cab would have probably been faster) and didn’t show at all for the return to the airport which clearly was an issue and fortunately I had the bolt app to get a cab since it was early in the am and...

The rooms from 24 up are on the upper hill and are closer to the pool and have astonishing views, either over the ocean and Porto Santo, or over Santana, with mountain and ocean. Hard to decide.
