"This property was a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, it's in a safe, convenient location for shopping and visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, and the common areas are nice. There's a large arcade, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas, and a large breakfast area.
Unfortunately, the guest rooms don't live up to the public spaces. Our room felt dark, dated, and a little dingy. The biggest disappointment, however, was housekeeping. We stayed for two nights, but our room was never serviced. After a long day hiking in the park, we were looking forward to returning to a clean room, fresh towels and a chance to relax, only to find the room exactly as we'd left it, with dirty towels still on the floor. When I called to request a restock, only bath towels were delivered, so I had to call back to request hand towels, washcloths, additional toilet paper, and tissues. When I asked about the lack of housekeeping, they said they "try" to get to all the rooms, but sometimes aren't able to.
Breakfast was decent overall. The main offering was a "deviled egg bar," which seemed like an unusual breakfast choice, but everything else was OK.
Overall, this is a reasonable budget option if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in Estes Park. That said, if your budget allows for spending a little more, I think you'll find better overall value elsewhere."
