"If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves."

"A lovely villa in a fabulous location, with views to die for. We loved the eclectic mix of antique furnishing and the numerous seating areas around the property. Ants...as other reviews, quite easily dealt with The small village of Banyalbufar was perfect for our needs and provided enough bars and restaurants for a stroll down the hill for supper...a little tougher going back up... lighting along the path would help. A delightful place to chill and take in the views."

"Veronica’s property is in an idyllic location in an olive grove high up in the hills above Fornalutx and Biniaritx in the Soller valley. Both villages are a 40ish minute walk away, have good restaurants and the former a great wee shop as well. The valley has terrific walking, with much of it well signposted. The property and garden are both fitted out to a high standard with all the features you would expect. Views are amazing and the pool is lovely (though a bit chilly in April!)...

"Had an amazing stay at Sergio’s house. It is a beautiful property with everything you could ever need. Brilliant location to explore the island: close enough to Palma and some incredible beaches/supermarkets etc. Sergio is super reliable and had great communication throughout the whole trip. Could not recommend more!"

"The house is a beautiful old property in traditional style. We didn't take a car and did a lot of walking (30 minutes from Soller) but the area was so beautiful we didn't mind. You can walk straight on to the mountain trail from the house which was stunning. The best thing about the house is the upper terrace on the second floor which looks out over the mountains and the valley."

"Small and bijou perfect for 2 people- relaxing and laid back. Uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean from a large terrace. Handy if you are fit for the walk to Soller Bay especially the return. Or have an appropriate car and reasonable driving skill."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The mountain location was so beautiful you didn’t want to leave it even to explore a nearby beach. The drive up and down is a challenging 25 mins with very steep and blind zigzags so we didn’t attempt to do it in the dark. However, we found the lovely village of Fornalutx by hiking 50mins each way which we did for eating out in the evenings. The restaurants are very good there. We stayed in 34 degrees heat in August and the evenings were difficult for sleeping with...

"This is a very nice mountain cottage with excellent terrace (and wi-fi!). Charming situation with walks to local villages. The 25 minute drive up from Biniaraix is longer and more difficult than expected, with some difficult turns and ending on an unpaved forest track. We ended up avoiding doing it as much as possible - although the walk up on the path from Fornalutx takes about 45 minutes and involves climbing 350m! I’d recommend bringing all your food and drink for your stay and relaxing...

As mentioned in previous reviews Isabel the host is helpful and quick with her response to pre arrival queries. The check in/out process was also made straight forward by Isabel. On arrival at the villa our expectations were more than met. "We had a brilliant stay at this beautiful villa. It was clean with good beds and good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Air conditioning in main living space and 2 of the bedrooms, and fan in third bedroom. Stunning pool area with views of the village and mountains. Excellent mini supermarket in Fornalutx with pretty much everything you might need. "We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful quiet spot. But the drive to get to it was scary and not for the faint hearted. People need to know this and be very strongly advised to only hire a small car due to the hair pin bends and the steep angles of the roads leading to the property."
