"Had a wonderful stay here. Even though we had the misfortune to book when thelocal club was having a big event so the where alot of younger people in the hotel making noise. The staff where very helpful and offered to move us to a quieter part of the hotel. This was very much appreciated. Would recommend this hotel for the area."

"Good cheap hotel room, clean and quiet. Good shops and restaurants nearby and great for a stopover as just off motorway. Only downside is no reception and checkin is quite complicated on emails I found, as your phone is room key. Good job my son was with me to work this out. Parking is underground and secure as well which was excellent."

"Fuimos a una ferias en Essen y Duesseldorf. El hotel tiene una ubicacion perfecta, es cerca de la estacion central de Essen, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas. Aunque el hotel es un edificio antiguo, las habitaciones son modernas y comodas. El desayuno es espectacular, hay de todo y de muy buena calidad. Me encanta quedarme en este hotel, lo recomiendo."

"In the middle of renovation, one of the elevators was not working at all. All rooms did not have a fridge. Our lamp and phone wasn't working so they had to come and replace them. Our window was having an issue locking so we asked the front desk lady to send someone to fix, but she was very unhelpful and told us to just tie the handles together to keep it closed. The next day we told the gentleman at the front desk and he sent someone to fix it right away. Not great value at its current condition. Look elsewhere. Hopefully, it gets better after the renovation."
