"Check in was a bit of a hassle. We never received the mandatory checkin email, which required chatting with hotels.com to resolve the issue. We tried to call the smartflats people after receiving the number from hotels.com (the one on the website is disconnected) directly and were put on hold (while we were chatting with hotels.com) and after 15 minutes of being on hold, we hung up. "Mind. Blown. Not a hotel … much, much more. Friendly, casual welcome … from the chef. Extensive wine cellar, kind and attentive staff. The room was beyond expectations, more a loft apartment in a New York style. The guest list is as impressive as it is unexpected. We will return. "

"Very nice, spacious and cozy studio. 20 mins walking to the city centre but less than 5 mins to the wonderful central station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice garage to park the car across the street (15 euros a day). Very friendly staff, the lady was really flexible (thank you so much :) The only con was the shower drain which seemed to be blocked but overall it was excellent cost-benefit. "

"We loved the spaciousness of the apartment. Lots of room to stretch out in. Well equipped and modern. On a quiet street so a lot less traffic noise. Supermarkets are within walking range. Close to the Centraal train station."
