"Dar Do is a lovely place to stay. We visited as a family of three adults and three children (8,10,13) staying for 14 days and there was plenty of room for us all. All the rooms are clean and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the sitting room has a large TV with USB ports for your own downloaded films. "Centered in the heart of the Medina. Very warm welcome on arrival. Beautiful traditional Riad feel from when you walk through the door. Be prepared for many steps to climb or be sure to ask for a room on lower floors. Extremely spacious room. Nicely laid out. Traditional bathroom though no actual shower, only a shower head laying in the bath and no shower curtain which proved awkward and inconvenient. "We were well looked after by Phillipe and Samira and his staff during our 5 night stay. I went with specific dietary requirements which were met in full, thanks Phillipe. The children loved the pool (very clean) and the gardens (especially the tortoises) and they were lucky to have friends to play with. We hadn't realised there were set meals for dinner but they were really nice and the children could choose what they wanted (within reason). "

You don't get flat screen TVs and mini bars but you do get a comfy clean bed, a simple breakfast and a warm welcome from the owner as well as a great location to explore Essauoira from. For the money paid, this is an absolute bargain. It is not 5 star luxury but if you just want a bed for the night you really can't go wrong"
