"Spacious charming house in a perfect location. We just spent the month of July here with an ever-changing group of family and friends -- never more than eight but the house could easily sleep double that. Everything works. Plenty of hot water. A modern kitchen with as much equipment and dishware as you could possibly want. Knives that are sharp. Comfortable beds. Lights to read by at night. Thick walls so sounds don't travel. A small flower-filled garden for dining al fresco. Sea views galore....

"The location was lovely and as described. The presentation of the property was very disappointing. Dust under beds, beds not made up. Awning broken. Velux windows all damaged and you could not see out. Good hot system. Well equipped kitchen. Horrible bed linen. Good spacious garage. Lawns uncut and grass very long. Not possible to use lawns. Back garden unfenced even though owner assured me it would be when i asked at time of booking."

"One of several gites incorporated into parts of chateau on the edge of Audierne, a vibrant port town. Much larger and lighter than photos suggest, with comfy beds. Lots of outside space, including large field suitable for ball games, and home to a ping-pong table. Really really excellent boulangerie/patisserie in walking distance, and also a nearby supermarket (9 mins walk). 30 mins walk/5 mins drive into town. Lots of nearby beaches and coastal walks.
