"Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world. That means a lot to me, It’s hard to know where to start when explaining why we loved it here. Firstly, the location: quiet, safe, local and with easy access to every possible location in Normandy. "Beautiful hotel, great location - just a couple of blocks from the center of town - and a very helpful front desk. Rooms are well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended!"

"Historic chateau. Spacious room. Lovely breakfast included. Parking available"

The “ aile of raie” ( ray flapper) was OK but for 10 euros cheaper it was MUCH better in Chinon. No great view though…"

"It was an amazing place! We hope to return."

"This is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed. Truly a unique experience from the check in to check out. Very small and intimate. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary . I must recommend having at leasst 1 dinner here. It was our favorite"
