This beautiful holiday villa with 3 independent houses, is situated on a hilltop overlooking northern Portugal with a distant view of the Atlantic ocean. Surrounded by vineyards, lovely gardens, a large pond connected to a functional flour mill, makes this an ideal getaway whilst experiencing the traditional Portuguese surroundings. In addition, there is a private tennis court & swimming pool situated on the hilltop edge providing amazing panoramic views. The extensive private lawn area also makes it possible for various outdoor activities. Also, there is an outdoor undercover area with wood-fire ovens & a barbecue ideal for larger dinner events. All villas are self contained, having their own kitchen and laundry.

This was an excellent place to stay but there are a few caveats depending on what you are looking for. It is rustic and requires about a 5 minute drive through some narrow village streets and maybe another few minutes before you get on a main road. It is still only 15 minutes to Esponsende so it is not far though. The house is old but comfortable and the grounds and surrounding areas are very nice. Carmen(spelling?) was there to greet us when we arrived, but other than that, it was very quiet on the property. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet place and wanted to spend time enjoying the property.
