It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. "The unit was spacious, bright, clean and functional. We stayed for 9 nights visiting the entire north of Portugal from this base, and it was a great choice. Once you get used to the 3 min walk to the parking garage, everything else is extremely convenient. All of historic Porto, including Gaia, is within a 30 min walk from the apartment. Restaurants nearby are plentiful and so are grocery shops. The staff was friendly and informative. Would definitely stay here again! "
