"The cottage was super-warm and cosy, clean and stylishly decorated. The location is quite remote (about 15 minutes drive into Ystad) and there are no facilities on your doorstep. Bearing this in mind, it would have been lovely to find a pint of milk in the fridge for tea/coffee on arrival. Also, the kettle was broken - a minor issue as we used a saucepan to heat water, but I seem to remember a previous review mentioned this, so clearly the owner had forgotten to buy a new one. "The hotel is situated in a central location, 5 minutes walk from the train station and river cruise. Close proximity to restaurants, cafes and historic buildings, parks etc. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the free breakfast was superb!! The room was spacious, clean and functional. Great value for money and highly recommended for a trip to Malmo."
