"This is a beautiful hotel on the water in a beautiful fjord. The room was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel as well as the two in the community - everything was delicious. We used this as a base to explore the other east fjords. The trails were very good. We loved the quiet relaxed atmosphere of the area. "

"We had a really great experience here and the best mattresses we've found by far. This is the 5th night in Iceland for us and the previous 4 hotels the mattresses were not good at all. This hotel was lovely in every respect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast they offered was probably the nicest one I've ever had - anywhere. Good water, good tv, good location, nice hotel :-)"

"We had a great stay here! The room was recently refurbished and was really nice. Check-in and out was really easy (self service) and we had an amazing dinner and fantastic breakfast in the restaurant (a separate building to the rooms). The staff at dinner and breakfast were efficient and friendly too. It’s located in a cute little village with stunning scenery. Would recommend a night or two here!"
