"We were in a suite in the older part of the hotel. Room was beautifully decorated yet with comfort and practicality in mind. Staff members very helpful; room was clean and well appointed (without the "old building" smell that permeates some older hotels). Breakfast must be ordered in advance but well worth the cost (best we had throughout a UK vacation). Location was excellent."

"Amazing apartment hotel. Modern, clean and got everything you need for a good stay in York. Parking was convenient- spars but we did manage to get parked - we paid £30 for Friday evening - Sunday evening. The hotel has a free coffee machine in reception as well as a snack facility. Roomz overlooks the river Ouse so to get into York it's a simple from via the river and across the bridge- took us 10mins to get into York centre/shambles etc. rooms were clean, tidy and had kitchens what was handy as I have many food allergies so cooking facilities and a fridge was essential when booking to stay in York. Hotel staff manning reception were all helpful, friendly and informative of the area. Theres lifts on site should you be placed on the top floor. Would definitely stay here again when visiting York. Will keep a look out for other roomz hotels in the future. "

"I was there for half a week to explore York after a business trip to the UK. The hotel was good and the staff excellent. Breakfast was pricey and really not worth it. Go to the coffee shop across the street instead or into the old city for a good breakfast at a reasonable price."
