"Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good...

"A wonderful gite in the most stunning countryside - beautiful views, wonderful wine and history all around with the Cathar castles and Carcassonne all close by. We had a wonderful week and wish we could have stayed in our tranquil little hideaway for ever. The gite was very clean and comfortable and well-equipped, we didn't want for anything. Annie-Claude was a wonderful hostess and was extremely helpful to us. When Willilam is older it would be great to bring him back to run around the hills..."

"Really well equipped & clean accommodation in peaceful rural location. Nice garden with pool and very quiet area made for a super relaxing break. Half hour drive to Mirepoix and Foix with their medieval charm, good markets and restaurants. Foix in particular has great places to eat. Would recommend this accommodation"

"We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this beautiful cottage. The location feels remote ( a lovely little village with a gorgeous backdrop of hills & mountains) but is a short ten minute drive to get everything you might need. We loved the terrace (& the sun!) But could also imagine it is a lovely autumn and winter retreat. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!"

"This gite has superb views from a south facing balcony which would be a sun trap in good weather (we were unfortunate and had two unusually wet days out of four!). The cottage is small but there’s plenty of space for two people with comfortable twin beds and comfortable chairs in a sitting area. There is a very good modern shower in a wet room. "The only compromise is the small toilet and shower room which is in the bedroom, making privacy difficult. A washing machine would be welcome however Simon and Martina kindly let us use their machine. Overall a good stay and happy to recommend this accomodation"

"Nous avons loué ce gîte pour un weekend entre amis (2 couples et un bébés). Le gîte est calme et assez proche de Quillan et Esperaza où nous sommes allés voir les marchés.
