"You have to make this your stay for your Grindelwald trip!! The coziest hotel with the sweetest owners and most breathtaking views. It was the perfect location, only a 7 min walk from the train station, but up on the hill enough so it felt more peaceful and serene than the main street of town. I only stayed two nights, but they came and freshened up my room anyway during the day, changed the bed/towels etc. complimentary breakfast that included a buffet spread, made to order eggs, and all sorts of coffee. Little details in the lobby and room just provided a sense of home and comfort. Beautiful yard with lounge chairs that overlooks the mountains and town. Only 1 small hill to get up, but absolutely doable even with luggage. And it’s so worth it!! Truly felt like a dream staying here. "

"Great location in Wengen. Staff friendly and accomodating. Area close to restaurant and shops. Room is basic but clean. Restroom/bathroom tight. No elevator but good exercise good up and down especially with luggage."
