"Wonderfully eclectic stay for our 25th Anniversary. Despite the record heat we REALLY enjoyed unplugging and relaxing to the sounds of birds and a babbling brook. A much needed respite that allowed us to recharge after busy work schedules. Will be back."

"We were extremely pleased with the service the room and the breakfast at the Hampton Inn. We stayed there for only one night and stayed at Turning Stone for 3 - wish it was reversed. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again."

"This little cabin and the surrounding property were everything we could have hoped for. It probably helped that the weather was perfect and the open windows and fans were enough to keep us cool - people may want to think about that if booking in the deep summer days - but we truly have no complaints. We didn’t need much but I have no doubt that if we did, Jonathan would have been there to help. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. There were books, games, a Keurig/coffee, fishing rods, a canoe/kayaks, life jackets, a very nice grill outside and gas stovetop inside - everything you could need for your stay even down to the soap. The waterfront was beautiful, just a few steps away, and the dock was perfect for morning cold plunges - we even canoed over to the Blue Canoe for food and drinks a couple of times (highly recommend it as well). If we ever had a reason to go back to the area (we’re from Arkansas and were actually just up there for a wedding), we would absolutely stay here again."

"Hotel was listed as Pet friendly. Nothing mentioning an additional charge for a pet….in this case, $75!! Think that should be up front in your description. Other “pet friendly” hotels we e stayed in on this trip, DID NOT charge"

"We only stayed one night the front desk lady was amazing she was dealing with me and another guest at the same time she was wonderful and very professional. I booked three rooms she had gotten us all on the same floor, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The patio to sit on and have breakfast the view is incredible. The pool was nice and clean the kids had a blast. We will visit this again. "

"From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with a friendly smile. The breakfast was outstanding, offering everything from cereal, eggs, pancakes, bagels, muffins, and waffles that you make your own with many choices of toppings. The lady working at the breakfast area, I believe her name was Kathleen, was very helpful and friendly, and helped with our needs with a smile. The pool was a perfect size and comfort level. The gym was clean with the right amount of equipment for our needs. "
