The “giant Hercules” statue in the courtyard is in itself worth the stay. I happened to see it in the courtyard with the sun during the day and moon and stars at night. Brilliant way to acquire a more experientially meaningful taste for Renaissance art (and architecture / design?) which I had always appreciated the look of but was never quite brought to life through my faculties in this way."
