"The cabin is beautifully situated on a hill with stunning views on Loch Long. No other noise than the little streams, wind and birds. The cabin is dog friendly, comfortable, spacious, tastfully decorated and well equiped. The owners provided a warm welcome and came to meet us for a chat just before we left. "Nice holiday in this older style property on the loch shore. Easy access to hillwalking and only a short drive to beautiful Plockton and across to Skye. Parking was easy right at the front door. "

"What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself -...

"I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities. He also gave us great tips on the best things to do on the Isle of Skye and made sure that all of the guests were enjoying their stay. The breakfast was high quality - I loved the smoked salmon and eggs and the fresh fruits and yogurts. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful whenever we had any questions. I would recommend the Sligachan hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay right near the Cuillian Mountains and a quick commute to Portree."
