The apartment really is as advertised and Pascal and his family are very friendly. "We had a lovely holiday at the house. The caretaker unfortunately only spoke French, but somehow we managed to communicate. Not sure we always understood each other but this did not lead to any issues, fortunately. If you are looking for a well set up house near the beach with a promenade, then look no further. We have as a result stayed here once before."

"This place is EXACTLY what I had always hoped country Normandy would be. Our host greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. He spoke little English but we worked it out without any problems. It is in the country but only a 15-20 minute drive to plenty of good restaurants. Very near St Maire Eglise and the airborne museum. Reasonable drive to the Dday sites. Bayeux would be a little more centrally located but I wanted country livin. I do suggest a dinner in Bayeux. It is a beautiful town....
