"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"The hotel is in an excellent position within the town. The staff were very pleasant. The only downside was that the radiators in the bedroom and bathroom both needed bleeding but by the time we discovered this the reception was closed (18.00). The bed was a little hard for our liking."
