"I suspect that it’s not tourist season yet and there’s no reason to open up the town-it’s still cool and rainy. Not much going on but really fine for our needs. Hotel is clean and modest. Staff is excellent. "

"Chose this B & B as it was close to the Canal du Nivernais and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. I was the only guest but was offered a 3 course evening meal - very good. Room was clean and quiet, had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh croissants. Little gem of a place. Recommended"

"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D :D We'll be back again!"

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Just checked out from our stay at this amazing accommodation! Set in a quaint little village, there was some stunning walks nearby perfect for the dogs! The garden is private and there is plenty of space to enjoy a picnic in the garden like we did. Parking on site which was perfect for us! short drive to local amenities such as bakery, chocolatier, supermarket and restaurants! if you are looking for somewhere quiet but beautiful this is the place for you! The gîte was very cozy and spacious and had all we needed including cooking facilities and washing machine. Wish we had booked for longer! Patricia was very accommodating and responsive to messages and gave great tips on what to do to get the most out of the area! Great host and great accommodation! Already planning a return trip!"
