"It was an easy 5-7min walk to the Poma Lift at Nives from which you could access the entire mountain and <5 to the nearest grocery store. We took advantage of ski and ski locker rental at Ski Walter which made the logistics easy. The kitchen is well outfitted with pots/panels, dish-ware, utensils, but beware that there are no kitchen basics --- salt & pepper, oil, paper towels, etc -- or puzzels, games, so bring your own."

"Such a lovely hard working couple and family. Amazing wood working and detail inside and out. We were on top of the world literally. One morning a complete rainbow over the valley and the mountaintops had a fresh dusting of snow. Good restaurants nearby and plenty of fresh farm good to choose from if you like. "We loved the apartment on the farm. Fresh eggs and milk every day. Peace and quiet. Lots of hiking opportunities around the property. The apartment was clean and the furniture was sufficient. The only thing it could improve on would be having basic things like soap in the bathrooms and kitchen and things like salt and pepper."

"We were very pleased with the quality of this property, it worked well for two families holidaying together. Maria and Theo were welcoming hosts, answering our queries promptly with local knowledge and bringing an amazing apple strudel on our first night. We were able to access all the cable cars and lifts from our base at Cesa Paula and enjoyed eating at the local pizzeria and wandering around the evening market in St. Cristina. We would recommend this property!"

"We had a great experience at this VRBO. It was clean, large and comfortable. The location was ideal - about 50-100 meters from a grocery store and bus stop. Parking also worked out well - especially as we had a rather large 9 passenger van that was not super easy to maneuver in tight spots. The location for visiting other towns and hikes was also optimal. Finally, the owners were also super responsive - for example, when we had a question about how to use the oven they responded in about 15...

"The view from our apartment was spectacular. The kitchen was adequately equipped. It would have been nice to have had a microwave oven. Martina was very responsive to our needs. The initial trip to the apartment was challenging but it didn’t take long for us to adjust to the drive. It is a short distance to downtown. We hope to visit Ortisei again."

"We had an excellent stay at the beginning of the ski season. This was a new area for us and we covered good distance each day. Views from apartment across the valley were wonderful. Only downside was the uphill walk from the town, or preferably the nearest ski bus stop."

"My friend and I stayed at Residence Contrin on a hiking trip to the dolomites. The small kitchen was just enough with everything we needed to make breakfast or a simple dinner.
