The views of the mountains from the patio and the murmuring of the water coming from the well make this an idyllic place to sit, relax, unwind and enjoy local cheese and wine. The hosts, Michèle and Daniel are warm, welcoming, and ready to answer any questions The surrounding area is gorgeous and Castellane is a lovely village. . I can't wait to go back."

"The property was on the second floor via tight circular stone stairs. The living accommodation was very good, though the shower room was very small with a toilet in another room off the kitchen. Overall, a pleasant property."

"We had a great stay at Lac Sainte-Croix. Patrick and Bernadette were lovely and everything was as pictured on the listing. There is a little terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and a kitchen with everything you need to cook if you want to stay in. There is also a restaurant downstairs (same building as the apartment if you don’t feel like driving) but we really preferred taking the car and either do our groceries at Riez or simply move around to discover the different villages and beaches....

I especially loved the view of the church from the skylight. The chapel, Notre Dame de Beauvoir is a wonderful place to encounter Jesus; a healing sanctuary for the weary soul.
