"My family of five stayed here for six days and loved the property and its surroundings. Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. "Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. "

"No one in my family wanted to leave this house when our vacation was over. This fascinating, beautifully appointed old home was filled with charm, comfort & interest. From the lovely outdoor patio to the clawfoot bathtub, we completely enjoyed every aspect. The entrance from the narrow cobblestone alleyway added to its charm. Parking was a convenient short distance and a small grocer with essentials was around the corner. I wish I could stay there all summer. "

"We booked the entire Chalet for 6 nights. Wifi was not working at all, we had to constantly refill data plans. The dishwasher upstairs was not in working condition. The owner of this Chalet is a fraud. He charged us a hefty amount without my consent after we checked out of the Chalet. I will be disputing this fraudulent charge with my credit card company. "

"This was a great base to explore Switzerland. Near restaurants. The host, Ruth, is fantastic. We were here for one week and left with a new friend. We highly recommend this location! "

"Super Host who provided a guided tour of the town. Apartment was very well stocked with local food samples. Easy walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We used this as a location to take the train into Lucern. A 20 minute train ride. Newly renovated apartment. Would definitely book again."

"A very comfortable base for an active holiday. If you dont have a car, the house is quite a walk uphill but the views are stunning. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts, Patrick and Natalie were very helpful and friendly."
