Fear not, there's plenty of modern conveniences (microwave, wifi - albeit weak, etc) but that's no fun."

"We had a wonderful time at Murphys Hotel, room was beautiful and spacious it was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was really lovely, a good choice of continental and a full irish which was delicious. We had evening meals here too and it's a big thumbs up to the chef. Also the owner and staff were were friiendly. Everything was great."

"We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here."

"This was a lovely home within walking distance to the town and its amenities. Also very close to golf and the beaches. The owner was very helpful and easy to reach. Our only suggestion is to include some street names in the directions provided."
