"This room checked all the things most important to me; a clean, comfortable bed; a mini fridge that actually stayed to temperature; clean, updated bathroom; a heat/ac unit that would turn off when you wanted it off, and all at a reasonable price. 5 stars!"

"Very nice and historic B&B in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Elk Country. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The owner is very personable and helpful in advising you on where to eat and places to visit. Would definitely stay there again!"

"You cannot stay any closer to the Winslow Hill Elk Observation area. Wonderfully comfortable and rustic at the same time. Made good use of the grill. The deer were often in the backyard and morning was filled with bird song. Great getaway opportunity and easy to set up."

"The place was immaculate and somehow much larger than expected. The sleeping area was huge! Also, the HH features a truly full and full-sized kitchen. Plenty of counter space, oven with a large range top and a full-sized fridge. A great set up for doing your own cooking. A great place to get away and enjoy nature. We had about a dozen deer in the yard each night and saw elk nearby every day of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again."

"The property was just what we needed to get away from everyday life. It was very relaxing!! The only negative thing I could say is there was no grill, but that was it. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to stay again, maybe when it's a little warmer."
