Quality Inn & Suites Canton

"The location was excellent, close to everything we needed with many places to eat nearby and easy access to main roads. The room was available and clean at check in time, and checking in was quick and efficient. There were very minor problems (the TV remote needed new batteries, and the bathroom door stuck a little) but nothing in life is perfect. Wifi was a little sketchy, but that seemed to be a problem in that area, not just in the hotel. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast, about what we expected for the price--nothing fancy but more than adequate. Coffee, juice, yogurt, toast, choice of jellies, two kinds of cereal, and apples. There were certainly other options in the area if you want something hot or more elaborate, but for a free and quick meal, it was sufficient, with even a waffle maker available. The lobby and breakfast area were roomy and nicely decorated. We weren't able to really make use of the pool and hot tub, as the weather did not cooperate. Parking was plentiful and free of charge. All in all, the hotel met our needs and was comfortable. The area seemed safe, and the property is pet-friendly for a nominal fee. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area."

"The room had some hair in the bathroom. It wasn't bad. The pool was not available on Saturday because of a party reservation. Occupants should have been notified. Other than that, the staff was great, and I liked that coffee was offered 24 hours a day."

"The rental process was seamless from start to finish. Once our dates were confirmed and payment processed, all communication arrived promptly via email and the VRBO app, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions throughout.Upon arrival, we had no trouble accessing the home, which matched the listing description closely. There was ample space for two guests and our dog, and access to the garage was a welcome bonus given the warm weather during our stay.The home was clean. The pantry came stocked with cooking spices, oils, and other staples useful for a weeklong stay. Pots, pans, and utensils were all provided. We had actually overpacked, as previous rentals hadn’t been nearly as well equipped.Wildlife sightings were a true highlight. Deer roamed freely throughout the neighborhood, often gathering in groups to relax on nearby lawns. We also spotted rabbits, hawks, squirrels, and — this being Lake Fork — fish.The neighbors were exceptionally kind, and we discovered they were from our hometown. We spent several mornings fishing together from opposite docks.We also had plenty of time to explore the surrounding area, enjoying the charm of nearby towns, local restaurants, shopping, and small businesses.Well done and a great time."
