"My friends and I stayed over the weekend for an event in the area. Everything in the house is perfectly tuned for a visitors stay. I've stayed in numerous places before that are missing key items (silverware, toilet paper, blankets, etc.) and this place had it all. Would stay here again, I would love to stay here in the winter! We had 8 guests and paid extra but I do think it should be a little more clear that there are technically only though beds to sleep 6-7 depending on guests partners."

"The property was amazing! It was very clean and the historical charm we were looking for staying inna civil wat home. It is close to all of the attraction but far away enough for peace and quiet. At night at the fire pit we all heard phantom cannons and muskets going off. The only area of opportunity, is the owners need to invest in new beds. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Everyone in our party did not sleep well at all. Over all, it was a great spot.off. It was epic!"

"My family was in the area for a soccer tournament in Gettysburg. This quaint little farmhouse was perfect for us, it was spotless inside and out! Fresh apples, peaches, and plums on the kitchen table too! "

"Very peaceful and worth the money to stay here. Old farmhouse and a few things are expected with that. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. It was a great day!"

"We attend a work conference at Gettysburg College each year. The dorms are so not good for older backs and hips lol. We decided to VRBO and I found the Rested Rooster property and couldn’t be happier! Communicating with Danielle was so easy. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. Essentials to stay us out were there waiting for us AND the coffee was delicious! Check-in was simple as was check-out. We plan to make reservations to stay here again next year. I highly recommend this...

"Very nice old farmhouse in a quiet and relaxing setting. Large grassy and wooded section to the front of the house that featured deer & turkeys. The house was cozy & comfortable & had everything we needed to relax after a day of sightseeing in Gettysburg."

"Nicely decorated, within walking distance of restaurants, neighbors were fairly quiet. We had just moved out of our home in a very quiet neighborhood and were able to select this property for our transition to another state. Upon arrival property is located on a main roadway through town. Additionally a fire station was less than 2 blocks away. Owner was very helpful in streaming the TV which did block out the noise. "We had a wonderful stay at Hilton. Check in process was easy, everyone was friendly. I had been traveling for a week and needed to decompress. Bought 2 beers at check-in, went and sat in the hot tub in and empty pool area. Soaked in the bubbles and drank my beers. It was glorious. The next morning I asked a housekeeper where the ice machine was, she was sweet and walked me all the way there. We prepaid for breakfast and were surprised to learn we could have beffet or order off a menu. We had the specials an espresso waffle and avocado toast. It was a great restful stay!"
