"Nice spot in the town. Well equipped accommodation, and manager made extra effort to have hot tub ready. Friendly neighbors and coffee cafe right next door. There are steps to the bedrooms and not much ‘elbow’ room, but this great spot for all day trips into Yorkshire Dales. "

"Very nice detached cottage ..large walled garden ideal for dogs....nice and clean. internet good..beautiful location ..close to all amenities..15 minute walk to local town.. highly recommended..photos need to be updated on website as the current ones don’t do it justice…!"

"Came to settle for some 3 peaks hiking and to meet up with old friends for joint birthday celebrations. Woodstock cottage was ideally located for train travel with substantial baggage. The cottage was great, had everything needed for my 5 night stay. Loved the reclining sofa, fully equiped kitchen, comfy beds and bathtub. Kate was a great host and added thoughtful extra touches like milk in the fridge and a small welcome hamper. Could not have had a better stay in this value for money cottage. "

"What a gorgeous property. Peaceful view of the sheep pasture, perfect linens, clean, luxurious and great leisure area with pool table and darts. "

"The Flaggs is a special place. Its old world charm is complemented with modern comfortable beds and lovely pillows. Although small it contains everything one needs for a 5 night stay.It is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the river to Settle station from where you can take the scenic Settle to Carlisle line to enjoy splendid views of the Yorkshire Dales or do excellent circular or linear walks.We would stay at the Flaggs again."

Beautiful building and excellent staff

"The building is beautiful. High ceilings and original fixtures make this a special place to stay. Located in a great location near to transport, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Shannon and the other staff are friendly and efficient and made our stay enjoyable. Food was tasty in the restaurant. Breakfast in morning was good and again the staff serving were friendly. The room had everything we needed and a fantastic view of the town hall. Comfy bed with nice cotton bedding and a large flat screen TV. We would stay here again if we are in the area. Very good value for money."
