"Fantastic stay. Staff were friendly and all very helpful. I'd stay here again just for the staff service. Food was excellent. We had an evening meal which was delicious and breakfast which was top quality. Special shout for the homemade jam! Welcome drink and cake on checking in which was a lovely surprise. Drinks were quite expensive but no different from the surrounding area. Room could have been cleaner but it was clean enough not to be an issue. Swimming pool and Hot tub were nice extras. The views are incredible so if you're lucky to have nice weather the outside seating is great."

"When we arrived for our weekend away, they greated us by advising us that they had upgraded us to a room with a view, which straight away made us even more happier. Beautiful location and hotel and the Spa and breakfast were brilliant as well. Just missing a gym for us, then it would have been perfect. Defo going again. "

"Lovely garden at the rear, rooms a good size and everywhere clean. Staff very friendly and the food was great and a good selection. Dog friendly and no issues. Will definitely be going back. Also 5 min stroll into Grassmere village so a perfect location. "
