Super friendly staff, lots of Ely and area history to look at on the walls. Rooms are clean and modern. Casino floor is dated. Hotel cafe food was great.
This remodeled room was absolutely gorgeous and entirely comfortable in every way. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. You get to walk through the old school, old Nevada gambling and right into a beautifully renovated room.
Room was clean and simple. The deluxe room we stayed in didn't have a fridge, so make sure to bring a cooler. Overall great location in town and restaurant in hotel had great food.

Cool old hotel. Room AC was noisy, needed a new fan. Friendly employees.
The moment I walked into the hotel, I was concerned if I have made a wrong call, because the smoke in the ground floor casino area, however, later I was proved wrong, the room(s) we have were so clean, quiet, with all the amenities that we need; although the bathroom is at the tiny side, but the shower water pressure is just perfect; the beds were all so comfortable, my girls had their own private room, not to mention they were all so pleased with the queen size bunkbed. We enjoyed our stay very much, will definitely come back.
This is a nearly 100 year old property and it smells like it has been smoked in every day of that 100 years. The elevator clangs every time you pass the 3rd floor. The staff was great! Water pressure was very low. Parking is tight if you have a truck or larger SUV. Air conditioner in room sounds like a freight train.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The room was remodeled clean and the bedding and the bed was comfortable, which is what I really needed for a good night sleep.
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I had called and asked if this was a casino hotel and the answer was “not really”. It is a casino hotel. This means smoking is allowed in the gambling areas. Unfortunately, the smoke smell permeates everything, the check in, the bar and cafe. By morning when you leave the smoke has made it into the hallways of the room floors.

It was an okay stay. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself is old, but not in a good nostalgic way. The rooms are very small, the bathrooms are tiny and our tub was missing porcelain which made it feel dirty. And because there is minimal space in the room, there is no counter space for misc stuff or anywhere to sit except the beds and one small stool chair. The deluxe room did have a frig (not very cold), and a coffee maker. Overall it was okay, but I doubt I will be returning.

The Expedia site showed free breakfast at the Dennys in the hotel. NO DENNYS ANY MORE.
Room was small, efficient, clean, comfy bed. No fridge or microwave but had a keurig!
Hotel Nevada is within walking distance of several attractions which we enjoyed. The room was recently remodeled. The only drawback was that we stayed two nights and there was no housekeeping to empty the trash. Also it is an old building and the doors close a little noisely.
