"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "Perfect overnight stay before my early flight. I stayed just one night at Holiday Inn Southend before my 6:30 AM flight, and everything was exactly as I hoped. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable — even the bathroom and shower were spotless and well-designed. The whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which really helped me rest before travel. I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone flying early from Southend Airport."
