From arrival to departure, the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the property was clean. I got assistance checking into my room as well as when I checked out. It was a plus having a refrigerator in the room. I also loved getting 2 bottles of water each day. Thank you. Having a plant based diet, I was very pleased with the food options at the restaurant. I will be staying here again.

Don’t miss Lemon Beach!

Lemon beach is a must do destination if you are going to cape coast. We had an amazing weekend. The staff are all wonderful— we had special and excellent service from Prince; we were grateful for George our driver and his team for arranging travel. While the beach right in front of lemon beach is not for swimming you can take a walk down the path and take a dip. We woke up to birds and ocean sounds and an incredible compound with a pool; gardens, great food and bar and Saturday evening cultural event with dancing and drumming from neighboring young people. We hope to return if we ever get back to Ghana. 🇬🇭

An Oasis by the Sea

If you are visiting Elmina or Cape Coast, the Lemon Beach Resort is the absolute best place to stay. The resort is extremely well run and the attention to detail rivals some high end resorts I have visited. I highly recommend this gem of a resort!

Wonderful Experience!

Loved everything about Lemon Beach Resort! The staff (every single one I encountered) was amazing, so incredibly warm and friendly. The resort also referred us to our driver, Moro, who was wonderful. Moro made sure we had a good time and saw as much as possible. I'm very thankful to have met him.

The accommodations are very nice. Although it is on the beach, there is a large rock breakwater between the beach and the water. Still a nice view. Hut was very comfortable and modern.

Great property if you are looking to relax. Very quiet location. Good restaurant on property for dining and drinks. Local dancers perform on certain nights of the week. Will need a car if you want to explore the area. Beach access is about 5-7 min walk along sea wall at the neighbor property

Enjoyed several night stay in March 2025 at property in beautiful spacious room facing the ocean. Property is very beautiful with a lovely swimming pool and restaurant and bar. Ocean access is restricted by rock barrier wall. Nice bathroom but recommend bringing non slip bath mat. Floors are slippery. Great stay in a historic area.

Enjoyed the delicious food, the room, the friendly staff and the excursions (batik workshop and visit to Elmina Castle). The pool, restaurant and rooms are in close proximity. Plenty of space in the restaurant with a nice view of the ocean. We’re vegetarian; had plenty to eat - delicious selections plus the best tasting pineapples and red red. The beach is a short walk. Very relaxing place to visit.
