"Das neu bzw. modern eingerichtete Zimmer "Tramsblick" hatte alles, was ich brauchte. Es war gemütlich und sauber. Auf einer grosszügigen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge kann der Abend ausgeklungen werden. Das Frühstück wurde reichhaltig und liebevoll im privat genutztem Kamnzimmer angerichtet. Die Familie war sehr sehr nett."

"Staying here was a fluke, and one of the highlights of my three visits to the Allgau region, in fact I would go as far as to say my three trips to Germany. I should point out I enjoy climbing in the mountains of NZ, so the rolling hill country that this area covers was a great relaxing way to meet both the country and the people. "Wonderful hotel overall. Breakfast was lovely. Parking and driving was a bit of a challenge and the towels in the room were thin. Desk clerk did not speak English. Would stay here again if I was in the area! "

"This is our second time staying at this property and it is an incredible experience. Ver close proximity to the main area of town, grocery stores and amenities close by, close to transit, and convenient parking. Why we have returned is mainly the level of customer service. The owner and his family are wonderful, super helpful and the hotel is spotless, offering a terrific variety for breakfast. I will return without a doubt and am impressed with how kind the owner is, along with his entire staff. Never disappointed! Highly recommend this hotel! "

"The view of the castle is from our room. Five minute walk from the hotel to the lake and a beautiful sunset location. Located right between the two castle and where the walking trails start and the horse drawn cart to the castle. Restaurant was excellent and priced similarly to other restaurants. On site parking. Nice breakfast buffet included. Very friendly staff and helpful. "

"This lodging was exactly as the pictures show! Each cottage has everything you will need for a night stay or a week long stay; plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, toaster, mini fridge, etc. It was easy to get into after hours with the door code that was given via email the day of arrival, clean, updated, and the views are amazing. Coming from the United States I was concerned about communication with the staff, but they were all VERY friendly, spoke English, and very prompt in email communication. The town of Ehrwald is so quaint with restaurants and local shopping. This is a great place to set up base camp for hiking, skiing, or just sightseeing in the Bavarian Alps. "
