"Due to hot weather I asked if we could move to a lower floor room for our 2nd night ( they had provide 1 fan that was already in the room and 2nd one which I asked for but room was like an oven ..) The staff were fantastic and found a room within a few minutes on a lower floor and cooler .. Thank you to the staff"

"Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for."

"Friendly helpful staff. But the bedroom was insufferably hot (admittedly during heatwave) even with a fan. Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit with only overripe bananas. Dining room window we sat next to was very dirty - cobwebs and dead bugs aplenty. Overall, great staff but otherwise a lot of room for improvement."

"Room was barely clean whilst half lights not working. Rails to stairs hadn’t been cleaned in ages and covered in grime. At busy times the bar staff were useless more intent on chatting than helping out else where. Food was ok but the breakfast was about the worst I’d had anywhere. On one good note the chap on night duty was really helpful."
