Three Bedroom, 2 1/2 Baths, Two Dining Areas, Two Living Rooms, Fireplace, Two large Decks with Hot Tub Overlooking The River, Laundry, Gas grill, Fire Pit, and River Beach.

The house is very comfortable and clean. It is stocked with many extras for enjoying the great outdoors. Yard games including, corn hole, footballs, and wiffleball/bats.

The home sleeps 7 people comfortably. Bedroom 1- Queen,
vaulted ceilings, river view. Bedroom 2- Full Bed
Bedroom 2- Full and Twin bed

We have several family members who are allergic to cats and dogs, so no pets allowed, sorry.

No smoking permitted in the home.

All wheel drive is needed in winter weather.

Our group was looking for a fun winter weekend in WV and found this great property just outside of Elkins! The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 and had a great, private location along the cheat river. We happened to be staying when a winter storm hit, which made the weekend much more interesting! Luckily, the host was very helpful and communicative to ensure we had a great weekend! We’d love to stay here again - though maybe in the summer next time!

The place was everything and then some. We have stayed at several places over the last 12 years and this was the best place for sure. We will hopefully be renting again for fall trip and next year spring trip

The Riverstar is such a beautiful home and property. The house and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The property owner is very polite and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Property was easy to find very accommodating and spacious. My family is on year 3 of a family trip in or new at Elkins area and we have decided this is the perfect fit. The hot tub was large the yard and fire pit super nice and plenty of games like Cornhole to play. Right by the water so if you want to fish/swim. We will be back next year for the annual trip!

This place is amazing. The house is well stocked with cooking utensils and towels and even some firewood for a small fire. We love staying here for our annual girls trip. The hot tub is amazing with the views of the river. Unfortunately we didn’t get much fishing in because the river was high but we enjoyed our time anyway. The host is great with getting back to us. We had zero issues except we didn’t want to leave 😊.

River Star is everything a house nestled in the mountains should be and so much more. Our stay there was so enjoyable! Beautiful house with all of the amenities along with easy access to town! Everything was perfect! Highly recommend for your stay on the Cheat River! Thank you again Patti for providing us with the most memorable experience!

I met up with friends for a girls weekend here and it was perfect. The three bedrooms and bathrooms allowed each of us to have our own space and the common areas were very comfortable for our time together. We spent quite a bit of time in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the river - it was so peaceful. The fire pit offered a great gathering place in the evenings. It was a fantastic trip!

Wish we had stayed longer. It is a clean and well organized home in the perfect location! The river was great for both the kids and adults. Only issue was some of the screens had small holes which we didn't realize until some bugs got it. It was an relaxing retreat where we could have fun and feel safe.

Love, love, love River Star! House was clean with nice layout, check-in was a breeze. Property was beautiful, private and peaceful. On a dead end road with a neighbor on each side but enough distance and foliage to feel like no one else is around. Access to river from back yard. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and can’t wait to go back! Perfect- everything I look for in a vacation spot!

Patty was a great communicator!! The house was exceptional! We used it as a place to stay while enjoying sledding and tubing. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub and we really enjoyed the river view!! The house is huge with plenty of room. The fireplace was wonderful. Our biggest complaint is not having enough time to enjoy the house and use the firepit. We hope to visit during the warm months to take advantage of the river!

This house has everything you need to stay for a week or a weekend. It's clean, comfortable and well stocked with the necessities. The river in the backyard is perfect for swimming or fishing, and the whole outside area is great for unwinding on the hammock, soaking in the hot tub or sitting around the fire. We had a last minute cancelation on another rental out of state, and the owner of the house made quick arrangements for us to check in the next day. From check in to checkout we codlin't have asked for a better experience. If we return to Elkins I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The house and property was amazing and just what my wife and I needed for our weekend getaway for our anniversary. We kayaked up and down the river which was easily accessible just several feet from the back deck. There was many fish visible as we floated down the river and plenty of swimming holes. We enjoyed cups of coffee by the fire pit in the evening as well as chilling and relaxing in the hottub. This is a place that my wife and I won't forget and have already told many family and friends about. Thanks for having us River Star!
