"House was great for our group and we all had a blast. Quiet location with a feeling of having the forest to ourselves though close enough to restaurants, activities, and shopping at the same time. Basil was incredibly helpful and attentive to questions and requests."

"Clean property, quiet neighborhood, has everything you need to cook your meals if you want it. It’s located between Durango and Silverton, close to City Market for needed groceries. Plenty of gas stations.The highlight of our trip was the Train Ride from Durango to Silverton.The weather was beautiful during our stay.Beds are firm, not too comfortable, was not able to enjoy the outdoors much due to tons of mosquitoes, have to spray your self a lot. There were no fish in the little pond in front of the property, Another con was that the biggest lake called Electra Lake you have to pay to get in and it’s per person not per vehicle. I was looking forward to go all the different lakes, however, they are mostly in private property and no access. We wanted an outdoor experience and we felt cheated. Over all we had a good time and we recommended the property,"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful Home about 28 miles outside of Durango. For our many activities in Durango, it would have been nice to be closer. Activities: Silverton Train, River run, Bar D Wrangler BBQ, Ouray and Mesa Verde. 3 bedrooms plus the bunk room accomodated our family well. Good, timely response from management."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our overall stay was very pleasant. The home is located in a beautiful area and offers a variety of summer activities and interests. It was clean and, for the most part, well-maintained. There was ample space to gather for meals, visiting, and playing games. The large kitchen and pantry were well-equipped, clean, and organized. Everyone appreciated having their own space, and the ensuite bathrooms were very much appreciated. The driveway also provided plenty of room for parking.Unfortunately, the basement had a strong musty odor, and the lack of blinds in the basement and family room made mornings quite warm, especially without air conditioning. Some window screens were missing or damaged. The outdoor area was fairly overgrown, and the fire pit and chairs shown in the listing were not available. The exterior did not fully reflect the website photos."

"The upstairs bathtub took forever to drain. This was reported and I was told they would be there layer that day to snake the drain. Not sure what happened but the drain never appeared fixed."

"Great location between Durango and Silverton! Plenty of room for our large party of 11. Comfy, clean beds. Plenty of towels. Well stocked table service. Large double refrigerators and double ovens! Laundry room a plus! Nice, clean hot tub! I really wanted to rate this rental higher all around but it is clear that it has not had a deep cleaning in a long time. The windows were dirty inside and out. The porches need to be scraped and repainted. They need to have covers for the back deck sofa cushions, which were dirty. Cookware and cooking utensils were well used and could be updated. For the price, I expected better!"
